Beginning in 1996 Ancestry.com officially went online. Millions of people have used this website to find out, via their DNA and official documents about their ancestral predecessors not only who came before them but their bloodlines and nationalities. 

We began to here about people who were 17% Norwegian, 80% Scottish and 7% Spanish. It is natural to know who came before us. I am still waiting to hear about some distant Cogswell ancestor who left us an unclaimed fortune! Still waiting…  

 

The Word of God shows us a number of people that encounter God but also what He did about them. This is the “genesis” of a five part series I call “The Five - Five People Who Encountered God”. Today we begin at the beginning - the first person who encountered God is Adam (and of course his wife Eve).
